This is a fine combination of south Indian director P Vasu and century star Shivarajakumar. It is Suresh Arts film - successful producer KA Suresh is having high hopes on two best talents. P Vasu has picked a thriller subject with suspense for Dr Shivarajakumar. There is chase, thrill and some action portion. Urvashi is playing Shivarajakumar mother. Two films of Shivarajkumar, Shivalinga and Killing Veerappan, are ready for release. But they are involved n a cat and mouse fight to be he first film to hit the screens. Killing Veerappan, directed by Ram Gopal Varma is mired in more than just one problem but the makers seem to be determined to stall Shivalinga's earlier release. Whichever film ails to release first will have to wait weeks if not months before trying its luck at the box office.
With three consecutive hits - Eradane Madhuve, Govindayanamaha and Shravani Subramani hitting century producer KA Suresh is feeling proud for this great combination happening. Dr V Nagendra Prasad is lyrics and dialogue writer of this film. Ravi Verma has handled stunts.

The makers of Killing Veerappan announced in October that the film would be released in the second week of November. Many other ilms got their release dates advanced or postponed to avoid clashing with the RGV film. But the promise was not kept. The biggest disadvantage was to another of Shivanna's films, Shivalinga. This film waited out November to avoid Killing Veerappan but since there are no signs of that film releasing, the makers started their publicity by releasing the audio album of the film.
Shivalinga was expected to release on December 11. But RGV put a spanner in its wheel in a tweet a few days ago, his tweet read, "Problems with Mutthulakshmi regarding Killing Veerapan have been amicably settled. Film is releasing on 11th December." The general perception was that the release of the film was delayed because forest brigand Veerappan's wife had managed to get a stay on the release of the film.
But insiders say Killing Veerappan's trouble is not confined to Muthulakshmi alone. Earlier, a financier had approached the court on a payment issue. Sandalwood is abuzz that the film is also caught in a tangle with the Animal Welfare Board of India for using an elephant without permission.
Except for RGV's tweet, the rest of the film team has gone incommunicado. Even the film's publicist claims he is not in touch with the film team. On the other hand, the producer of Shivalinga, Suresh, has gone to Shivarajkumar to solve the issue. He is ready to release the film on December 11 if Shivanna gives the goahead. A meeting is scheduled for late on Monday evening. If Shivanna gives the green signal, Suresh is confident of getting the film censored within the next two days. Both the film makers are said to have blocked hundreds of theatres putting makers of smaller films in anxiety.
