Bhooloham (Tamil: பூலோகம்) is an Indian Tamil sports-action film directed by N. Kalyanakrishnan and produced by Aascar Films. It stars Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead roles, while Prakash Raj plays another pivotal role. The film, which began during 2011, had been in its post-production stage for a long period and got released on 24th December 2015 after a huge delay.

Jayam Ravi agreed terms to star in the film in August 2010, shortly after he had begun work for Engeyum Kadhal (2011) and Aadhi Baghavan (2013). During the making of the Peranmai (2009), an assistant director to S. P. Jananathan, Kalyanakrishnan, had narrated the story of the film and Jayam Ravi agreed to give priority dates for the film.However delays in production of the former two films resulted in the postponement of the shoot of Bhooloham, as his character in Aadhi Bhagavan required him to sport a beard, stopping him from working on the films simultaneously. In July 2011, it was reported that Jayam Ravi underwent a special training course in boxing for his role as a boxer with professional athlete, Prasad, overlooking his progress.
Amala Paul was approached by the producers in March 2012 to play the leading female role, but could not allot dates for the film.Subsequently the team approached Nayantara to play the lead role but her unavailability saw the team agree terms with Trisha Krishnan to play a role in the film. The movie is inspired from the life of a real life Asian boxing champion named Madhan. The makers roped in the Australian actor of Troy fame, Nathan Jones, for a fight sequence.
The film primarily shot in late 2012 and early 2013 and the makers worked towards a release date during the summer of 2013, but the film experienced further delays.[11] Producer Aascar Ravichandran was unhappy about the film having more than half an hour dedicated to boxing scenes and put the film on hold, in order to edit the film's content. In early 2015, the Indian Overseas bank's Sriram Nagar branch filed a petition in The Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Chennai and requested to an interim stay on the film after Aascar Ravichandran failed to repay the loan amount he bought for the production expense of Bhooloham.
Soundtrack
Music is composed by Srikanth Deva uniting with Jayam Ravi for second time after M. Kumaran Son Of Mahalakshmi.
The satellite rights of the film were sold to Jaya TV.After about three years of delay, the film was scheduled and got released on 24th December 2015. A new trailer was also released on 15th December 2015.

Bajirao Mastani is a 2015 Indian epic historical romance film produced and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who also composed the music score of the film. The film stars Ranveer Singh as Bajirao I, Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai, and Deepika Padukone as Mastani. The film also features Tanvi Azmi, Vaibbhav Tatwawdi and Milind Soman. Based on the Marathi novel Raau by Nagnath S. Inamdar, the film narrates the story of the Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao(1700-1740 AD) and his Muslim wife Mastani.
The film was in development for 15 years, Bhansali wanted to make the film after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, several times, the production was delayed due to the changing cast. Principal photography started in mid 2014, after the casting of principle roles were finalised. The film was released on 18 December 2015 to positive reviews from critics, who praised the direction, cinematography, production design, costumes, music and performances, particularly of Padukone,Chopra and Singh.

The film was first announced in 2003. Sanjay Leela Bhansali initially wanted to cast Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai (his lead pair from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) for the eponymous roles, but could not cast them together after their highly publicised break-up.In July 2003, there were reports that Bhansali had cast Khan and Kareena Kapoor as the lead pair with Rani Mukerji playing Baji Rao's first wife.During his appearance on season 1 of the popular talk show Koffee with Karan, Bhansali stated that he scrapped the casting of Khan and Kapoor after the pair signed other films together as he wanted to be the first director to showcase their pairing. Bhansali shelved Bajirao Mastani and went on to direct Black (2005), Saawariya (2007), Guzaarish (2010), and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013). Throughout these ten years, media speculation continued about the production and casting of Bajirao Mastani. Several actors were rumoured to be linked to the project including Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn,Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif.
In July 2014, it was confirmed that Bhansali had revived the project with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone (the lead pair of Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela) playing the titular roles and Priyanka Chopra playing Bajirao's first wife, Kashibai. Both Singh and Padukone will undergo extensive preparation for their roles. Bhansali has reportedly approached Daksha Sheth to train the pair in Kalaripayattu, an ancient Indian martial art. Sheth will also train Padukone in the dance style of Kathak. Classical Kathak dancer Pandit Birju Maharaj has also choreographed a Kathak song for Padukone.Singh will be required to learn Marathi, learn horseback riding, and shave his head for the role. In addition, the role of Baji Rao will require Singh to gain weight to build his physique. In preparation for her role of Kashibai, Chopra took a 15-day coaching course and she will also be undergoing language training in a dialect of Marathi spoken during the time of the ascension of the Peshwas.Irrfan Khan played narrator in the film.
In September 2014, it was confirmed that Tanvi Azmi was cast for the role of Bajirao's mother. Other actresses reportedly considered for this role were Shabana Azmi, Dimple Kapadia, and Supriya Pathak. Tanvi has gone completely bald for her role.In November 2014, the actresses for the roles of Bajirao's sisters were finalised with Sukhada Khandkekar cast as Anubai and Anuja Gokhale as Bhiubai. Mahesh Manjrekar has been cast to play Maratha Emperor Chhattrapati Shahu in the film.The film's costumes will be designed by Anju Modi.It was announced in January 2015 that actor Vaibhav Tatwawadi was chosen to play Bajirao's younger brother, Chimaji Appa. Sonal Dighe will be acting as Ranveer Singh's secretary.
Filming
Principal photography started on 23 September 2014 with Singh and Chopra.Padukone shot for a crucial scene for two days during the end of December 2014 and resumed shooting in March 2015, after completing work for her other projects. Padukone filming included physically tough scenes such as sword fighting while sporting a 20 kg armour. A major portion of the film will be shot in Mumbai's Film City Studios. For the outdoor sequences, Bhansali has finalised Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Wai of Maharashtra.The Production designers Sujeet Sawant, Sriram Iyengar, Saloni have designed more than 21 sets including Aaina Mahal and Shaniwar wada. Extensive research and designing have been done to construct massive sets. The promo teaser launched recently shows the grandeur and aesthetically stunning visuals of Peshwa Period achieved by the designers.
Release
Bajirao Mastani was released on 18 December 2015 in India. The film will be sharing the 5000+ domestic screens with Dilwale in a 40:60 ratio.In the international markets, Bajirao Mastani is expected to release in over 850+ screens with the largest release in China with over 6000 screens later in its run. The descendants of Peshwa and Chhatrasal dynasty protested against the release of film in Pune.
Critical reception
Subhash K. Jha gave the film five stars out of five calling it a "masterpiece", and compared it favorably with Mughal-e-Azam. Anupama Chopra gave four stars out of five, terming it "soaring, searing and visually sumptuous", and wrote "Bajirao Mastani plays out a like an operatic, swooning, feverish love poem." She praised the performances by the lead actors and wrote" Ranveer Singh isn’t instantly convincing but slowly, he makes you believe. It’s a complex role that combines towering strength with aching vulnerability and helplessness. Priyanka Chopra might have fewer scenes but she creates maximum impact. And Deepika Padukone is riveting."The Times of India also gave four stars out of five, pointing out its "outstanding" cinematography and wrote "Every visual resembles a grand painting - courts with shadows and chandeliers, courtiers with tilaks and teers, chambers gleaming with mirrors, skies blushing with passion."Taran Adarsh from Bollywood Hungama gave four stars out of five, describing it as "a cinematic gem" and wrote that "fascinating characters and inspirational sub-plots [in the film] advances into a stunning culmination." He praised the performances, writing "Ranveer Singh is stupendous and clearly in top form. The effortlessness with which he gets into the skin of the character is noteworthy. Deepika is enchanting as Mastani and displays the strength as an actor in several pertinent episodes. Priyanka Chopra's portrayal of Kashibai deserves brownie points."
Zee News also gave four stars out of five and noted "An outright outshining piece of art made unblemished, sprinkled with sincerity and discipline of acting—this love folklore will restore the drama lovers, back in their ‘expectation’ block."[44] Shubha Shetty-Saha of Mid Day gave three and a half out of five stars, and wrote "Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his characteristic style narrates his version of the story in a Mughal-e-azamesque scale of grandiosity, replete with breathtakingly beautiful sets, elaborate and well thought of costumes and accessoriesand dreamy cinematography" which transports the viewers to an "unique and stunningly beautiful world." Ananya Bhattacharya of India Today also rated the film three and a half out of five stars, calling it "an experience", and Bhansali "a master love-storyteller." She praised the performance "Ranveer, Deepika, Priyanka shine while Tanvi Azmi plays the intimidating matriarch with elan." However, she thought the editing "could have been much crisper." Koimoi gave three and a half out of five stars praising the Bhansali's direction and score, and wrote "When it comes to direction. Bajirao Mastani is a sheer cinematic brilliance. Bhansali’s clear vision of making it an epic romance finally sees light of the day after years of waiting. Costumes, sets and Sudeep Chaterjee’s cinematography all confluence into a magnificent presentation." She additionally praised the performances, chemistry between the three lead actors calling it "breathtaking", and the cinematography.Writing for NDTV, Saibal Chatterjee gave the film three and a half out of five stars, and said "There isn't a dull moment in this colourful and dramatic film that embraces excess with unabashed abandon."
Giving a rating of three stars out of five Rajeev Masand described the film as "artistic but exhausting" and was critical of the film's length. However, he praised the cinematography, production desigh and performances, particularly Chopra's. He wrote "the film benefits from a nice touch of playfulness and humor in Priyanka Chopra’s Kashibai. Chopra brings grace to the character, and practically steals the film". On the other hand, Namrata Joshi of The Hindu called the film a “historical leap”, and wrote "Sanjay Leela Bhansali returns with another visual spectacle that wilfully takes liberties with the past that it depicts. But it does manage to engage even as it exhausts."Conversely, Raja Sen of Rediff was unimpressed with the film, rating it two out of five stars. However, he praised performances by Chopra and Singh describing as "terrific". He was critical of Padukone's performance writing that "Padukone look giddily entranced, there are times when she appears completely lost she's entirely eaten up by Priyanka Chopra, who, while not in the title, owns Bajirao Mastani." Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express was also disappointed with the film, writing that "Bajirao Mastani’ had the potential to be a terrific historical. You want to be transported. What it ends up being is a costume drama : too many costumes, too much revved-up, empty drama, and too little plot."

Hail, Caesar! is an upcoming comedy film written, produced, edited, and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. Starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, and Ralph Fiennes, the film follows Eddie Mannix (Brolin), a "fixer" working in the Hollywood film industry in the 1950s, trying to discover what happened to a cast member who vanishes during filming.
First revealed in 2004, the film was originally set to take place in the 1920s and follow actors performing a play about ancient Rome. The Coens shelved the idea until late 2013, when they stated it was in development. Principal photography began in November 2014 in Los Angeles, California. The film will open the 66th Berlin International Film Festival on February 11, 2016.
Premise
Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin) is a Hollywood "fixer" helping the production of the upcoming film entitled Hail Caesar starring famous actor Baird Whitlock (George Clooney). When a hungover Whitlock is kidnapped by a group named The Future, Mannix is the one in charge of collecting $100,000 and rescuing him.
Development
The idea and title were first suggested by the Coens in July 2004. A comedy film, the story was originally said to follow "a troupe of actors in the 1920s putting on a play about ancient Rome", with the focus on a matinée idol. George Clooney was to play the main character. In February 2008, the Coens said that the film did not have a script, but only existed as an idea. They stated that it would be the third in the "Numbskull Trilogy" with Clooney, following O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) and Intolerable Cruelty (2003).
The project was mentioned in a December 2013 interview about Inside Llewyn Davis. Joel Coen revealed that they were "working on" Hail, Caesar!, and that it would likely be their next project. The Coens reconfirmed the film's development in May 2014, with the plot now focused on a "fixer" working in the Hollywood film industry in the 1950s.
Pre-production
In December 2013, the Coens confirmed that Clooney would remain involved with the project. In June 2014, Josh Brolin, Channing Tatum, Ralph Fiennes, and Tilda Swinton joined the cast, Universal Pictures was announced to be distributing the film, and Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan signed on to produce the film for Working Title Films. In July, Jonah Hill and Scarlett Johansson entered talks to join the production. Johansson would portray "an actress who suddenly becomes pregnant as her film is about to go into production".The next month, Johansson and Hill were confirmed to have joined the cast, and Alden Ehrenreich entered negotiations to star. In a September 2014 interview with The Daily Beast, Frances McDormand said she had a role in the film. In October, Patrick Fischler, David Krumholtz, and Fisher Stevens joined the cast as communist screenwriters, and Clancy Brown joined as an actor in the film within a film, also titled Hail, Caesar! The following month, Christopher Lambert was cast as Arne Slessum, a European filmmaker who has an affair with Johannson's character.In a November 2014 interview at the Ottawa Pop Expo, Robert Picardo revealed that he had a role in the film and that he was set to begin filming in December.
Filming
In October 2014, Roger Deakins posted on his site that he would be the film's cinematographer and was shooting test footage. Principal photography on the film began in Los Angeles, California on November 10, 2014.Filming has been based at the Lot Studios in West Hollywood, California. Locations have included the Los Angeles City Hall, the Los Angeles Theatre and Pasadena. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Coen brothers' decision to film in Los Angeles increased filming activity in the city, which had previously been down by "a double-digit percentage... in the fourth quarter [of 2014]". Later the same month, Kate Morgan Chadwick was seen filming with Brolin. Also in November, Emily Beecham was said to have a role in the film.In December, Clooney was photographed in full Roman regalia while filming scenes in Downtown Los Angeles. Tatum dyed his hair blond for his role.
Music
Carter Burwell will, in addition to writing the score, write original songs for the film,[along with Henry Krieger and Willie Reale.
Release
Universal and Working Title released the official trailer on October 9, 2015. The film will open the Berlin Film Festival on February 11, 2016.

Wazir (Hindi: वज़ीर) is an upcoming 2016 Indian action thriller film directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The film is written by Abhijat Joshi and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and is jointly produced by Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. It stars Amitabh Bachchan & Farhan Akhtar in lead roles along with Aditi Rao Hydari, John Abraham Neil Nitin Mukesh and Manav Kaul in supporting roles. It is scheduled to release on 8 January 2016. The film is about two unlikely friends - a wheelchair-bound chess grandmaster (Amitabh Bachchan) and an ATS officer (Farhan Akhtar). Both are brought together by grief and a strange twist of fate. The first shot was taken on 28 September 2014 in Mumbai. The trailer of the movie was released on 18 November 2015, and is scheduled to release on 8 January 2016.
Development
The idea of Wazir came to Vidhu Vinod Chopra around 1980. When he met his writer Abhijat Joshi in 1994, he told Joshi about this idea of "two chess players and this lovely thriller". Years later, between 2000 to 2004, they both wrote it in english. It was supposed to be Chopra's first Hollywood film, with Dustin Hoffman playing the protagonist. In 2005, their producer Robert Newmyer suddenly passed away. The script of the film took five years to complete. Then Chopra saw the black-and-white portions of Bejoy Nambiar's David (2013). Later Vinod recalls: "I called him (Bejoy), and I have an almirah (Cupboard) full of scripts, so I opened it and asked him ‘Which one? He picked this one. Then we worked for two more years on it." The original title of the film was Do, which was changed to Wazir in October 2014.
Casting
At the screening of Lakshya (2004), Chopra informed Akhtar about the script of Wazir, and he wanted his feedback on that. The next time they met him in 2014, after which Akhtar heard the script and agreed to do the film.He went through intense training and put on eight kilograms of weight to play the role of an Anti Terrorist Squad officer. Aditi Rao Hydari was cast after Chopra saw her dance, and it took him one second to finalise her for the film. John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh make extended cameo appearances in the film.
Filming
The cast and crew began filming for Wazir on 28 September, 2014 in Mumbai. Parts of the film were also shot in Delhi.Few scenes in the film were improvised, including the joke about Russian vodka and Russian girls between Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. Akhtar completed his schedule in March in Srinagar, while Bachchan filmed his last minute leftovers in April, 2015.

Minions is a 2015 American 3D computer-animated family comedy film, serving as a spin-off/prequel to the Despicable Me franchise. Produced by Illumination Entertainment for Universal Pictures, it was directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, written by Brian Lynch, and produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy.[9] The film stars Coffin (as the Minions), Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, and Steve Coogan, and is narrated by Geoffrey Rush. Plot
Minions are small, yellow creatures who have existed since the beginning of time, evolving from single-celled organisms into beings who exist only to serve history's most villainous masters.They speak their own language, Minionese, a constructed language consisting of funny sounding words from Italian, Korean, and other languages.
During the course of time, the Minions find great masters—including a T-Rex, a caveman, an Egyptian pharaoh, Dracula,and Napoleon,—but after accidentally killing nearly all of them with their incompetence, they decide to isolate themselves from the world and start a new life in Antarctica.By 1968, the lack of a master to serve drives them into depression, so Kevin, one fearless Minion, plans to find a new one for them by going back out into the world.Stuart—a bored, teenaged minion who is obsessed with guitars—joins him reluctantly, as does an over-enthusiastic Bob, whom Kevin only chooses because of no one else willing to volunteer.
After a long journey, the Minions arrive in New York, where they soon learn about Villain-Con, a convention to be held in Orlando where supervillains gather from around the world. They hitchhike to Orlando, where they successfully become the henchmen for Scarlet Overkill, the world's first female supervillain.
As Scarlet takes the Minions to her home to London, Kevin immediately notifies the other Minions back home. In Antarctica, the other Minions begin working for a Yeti, but once again accidentally kill their leader. Fleeing from the Yeti's angry friends, they travel around the world to find Kevin, who had already told them to meet the trio in England.
Scarlet and the Minions arrive at her home, where she orders them to steal St. Edward's Crown from Queen Elizabeth II of England, later showing through a bedtime story that she'll execute them if they fail. With gadgets from Herb, Scarlet's husband, the Minions successfully break into the Tower of London. However, the crown is being delivered to the Queen, so they steal it from her while she's in her carriage, with the police in pursuit. Bob crashes onto the mythical Sword in the Stone and pulls the sword, Excalibur, out to defend himself. After he has pulled out the legendary sword, Elizabeth II is immediately removed from the throne and Bob is crowned as the new King of England.
Convinced they are traitors for stealing her dream, Scarlet confronts the Minions and threatens to kill them for good. King Bob abdicates in Scarlet's favor, but she still doesn't forgive the Minions, locking them in the palace dungeon to be tortured by Herb.
The Minions' unusual physiology prevent them from being affected by the torture and Herb eventually leaves to attend his wife's coronation. The Minions then escape the dungeon through a sewer, intending to apologize to Scarlet.
At Westminster Abbey, the Minions accidentally interrupt Scarlet's coronation by unscrewing a chandelier, which falls and crushes Scarlet before she can be crowned.
Scarlet survives and orders those attending the coronation—including some super-villains—to get the Minions. Stuart and Bob are captured while Kevin hides in a bar where he finds Elizabeth. Kevin learns that Stuart and Bob are to be executed and breaks into Herb's laboratory, with villains chasing him. He accidentally triggers an experimental machine that enlarges him, destroying the Overkill residence in the process, which scares the villains away.
Kevin rescues his companions just as the other Minions arrive in London. Scarlet is distracted by the army of Minions and Kevin knocks her through numerous buildings. She sends a missile towards Kevin, which he swallows, sacrificing himself to save Stuart, Bob and the other Minions. Scarlet and Herb attempt to escape using her dress rocket but Kevin holds onto it as the missile inside him explodes, apparently killing Scarlet and Herb and shrinking Kevin back to his original size.
Elizabeth is once again crowned Queen of England, and she publicly thanks the Minions by presenting Bob with a tiny crown, Stuart with an electric guitar and Kevin with a knighthood. Scarlet and Herb, who are suddenly revealed to be alive, then steal the Queen's crown, but they then get frozen by young Gru, who takes the crown from them. As the Minions see that Gru is the perfect new potential boss, they start to go after him, as Bob gives his tiny crown to Scarlet, who is upset over her dream not coming true, to make her feel better. The film ends with the Minions chasing Gru to his home.
