Hate Story 3 is an upcoming 2015 Bollywood thriller film directed by Vishal Pandya. Produced by T-Series, it stars Zarine Khan, Daisy Shah in lead roles with Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi and in pivotal roles. Written by Vikram Bhatt and Madhuri Banerji, the film is a sequel to Pandya's 2014 thriller Hate Story 2. The film is scheduled to be released on 4 December 2015.

Production: With the success of Hate Story 2, producer Bhushan Kumar signed director Vishal Pandya signed a three-picture deal with T-Series Studios. Early casting included actor Sharman Joshi, but he was replaced by Gurmeet Choudhary for a brief period of time. due to conflicts with Joshi's schedule. 26 February 2015, Joshi reported that he was prepared for scenes where he would be nude,[6] and on 1 March, he reported that he was enjoying shooting his explicit scenes. Actress Daisy Shah was brought aboard the project through Salman Khan's insistence that producer Bhushan Kumar speak with her about joining the project.

Casting: Puja Gupta was roped in to do a special song 'Neende Ud Jaati Hai' in the film.It was shot in October 2015.

Soundtrack: The music for Hate Story 3 is composed by Amaal Mallik, Meet Bros and Baman, while lyrics are written by Kumaar, Manoj Muntashir, Rashmi Virag and Shabbir Ahmed. The music rights for the film have been acquired by T-Series. The first song titled "Tumhe Apna Banane Ka" was released on 21 October 2015, followed by "Tu Isaq Mera" which released on 29 Oct, 2015.

Pre-production: Kamal Haasan announced that his next project, a bilingual thriller titled Thoonga Vanam in Tamil, would be directed by his former assistant Rajesh [6] and produced by himself. He added that the film would be shot simultaneously and with the same cast and crew as Cheekati Rajyam in the Telugu language.[7] Sanu Varghese and Shan Mohammed were named as the cinematographer and editor, respectively,[8] while Ghibran was recruited as the film's composer, working for a fourth successive Kamal Haasan film.[9][10] Writer Suka was chosen to write the Tamil dialogues,[11] while Abburi Ravi was assigned to work on the dialogues for the Telugu version.[12]

Kamal Haasan was reported to be play CK Dhiwakar, an Indian Revenue Service officer in Narcotics Control Bureau.[13] Trisha and Prakash Raj were the first actors to be cast and reported to play the female lead and an important supporting role respectively.[14][15] While Prakash Raj was said to portray a drug dealer named Vital Rao, Trisha's role was Mallika, a police officer.[13] Initially, the makers were considering Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala to play Kamal's wife in the movie. But the crew later opted for Asha Sarath after watching her films.[16][17] Uma Riyaz Khan was signed for an "important role" [18] and Kishore informed that had been selected for a "key role" in the film.[19] In June 2015, it was reported that Madhu Shalini was part of the film and had starting filming,[20] while Sampath Raj was also added to the cast.[21] Sampath's character was revealed to be that of a local gangster called Pedha Babu.[13]

Filming: Following a photo shoot at the AVM Studios on 20 May 2015,[22] the film was officially unveiled on 25 May in Hyderabad with the release of the first look poster,[12] after which principal photography began with a schedule at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.[23][24] The filming was completed in 38 days by August 2015.

Music: Thoongavanam features one song, "Neeye Unakku Raja" in the metal genre, sung by Kamal Haasan and model-turned-singer C. Aishvarrya Suresh, who both performed its Telugu version as well.[25] Behindwoods wrote "Though it's just one, it's a gun!"[26]
