Minions is a 2015 American 3D computer-animated family comedy film, serving as a spin-off/prequel to the Despicable Me franchise. Produced by Illumination Entertainment for Universal Pictures, it was directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, written by Brian Lynch, and produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy.[9] The film stars Coffin (as the Minions), Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, and Steve Coogan, and is narrated by Geoffrey Rush. It was first foreshadowed in the end credits of Despicable Me 2, where Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, three of the Minions, are seen auditioning for the film.

Minions had its premiere on June 11, 2015, in Leicester Square, London, and went into general release in the United States on July 10, 2015. Critical response was mixed: some critics praised the comedic aspects of the film and the performances of Bullock and Hamm,[12] while others felt that the titular characters were not able to carry the film on their own, and that the villains were flatly characterized. The film has grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide (outgrossing either of the Despicable Me films), making it the 10th highest-grossing film of all time, the 2nd highest-grossing animated film, and the highest-grossing non-Disney animated film.

Plot
Minions are small, yellow creatures who have existed since the beginning of time, evolving from single-celled organisms into beings who exist only to serve history's most villainous masters.They speak their own language, Minionese, a constructed language consisting of funny sounding words from Italian, Korean, and other languages.

 During the course of time, the Minions find great masters—including a T-Rex, a caveman, an Egyptian pharaoh, Dracula,and Napoleon,—but after accidentally killing nearly all of them with their incompetence, they decide to isolate themselves from the world and start a new life in Antarctica.By 1968, the lack of a master to serve drives them into depression, so Kevin, one fearless Minion, plans to find a new one for them by going back out into the world.Stuart—a bored, teenaged minion who is obsessed with guitars—joins him reluctantly, as does an over-enthusiastic Bob, whom Kevin only chooses because of no one else willing to volunteer.
After a long journey, the Minions arrive in New York, where they soon learn about Villain-Con, a convention to be held in Orlando where supervillains gather from around the world. They hitchhike to Orlando, where they successfully become the henchmen for Scarlet Overkill, the world's first female supervillain.

As Scarlet takes the Minions to her home to London, Kevin immediately notifies the other Minions back home. In Antarctica, the other Minions begin working for a Yeti, but once again accidentally kill their leader. Fleeing from the Yeti's angry friends, they travel around the world to find Kevin, who had already told them to meet the trio in England.
Scarlet and the Minions arrive at her home, where she orders them to steal St. Edward's Crown from Queen Elizabeth II of England, later showing through a bedtime story that she'll execute them if they fail. With gadgets from Herb, Scarlet's husband, the Minions successfully break into the Tower of London. However, the crown is being delivered to the Queen, so they steal it from her while she's in her carriage, with the police in pursuit. Bob crashes onto the mythical Sword in the Stone and pulls the sword, Excalibur, out to defend himself. After he has pulled out the legendary sword, Elizabeth II is immediately removed from the throne and Bob is crowned as the new King of England.
Convinced they are traitors for stealing her dream, Scarlet confronts the Minions and threatens to kill them for good. King Bob abdicates in Scarlet's favor, but she still doesn't forgive the Minions, locking them in the palace dungeon to be tortured by Herb.

The Minions' unusual physiology prevent them from being affected by the torture and Herb eventually leaves to attend his wife's coronation. The Minions then escape the dungeon through a sewer, intending to apologize to Scarlet.
At Westminster Abbey, the Minions accidentally interrupt Scarlet's coronation by unscrewing a chandelier, which falls and crushes Scarlet before she can be crowned.

Scarlet survives and orders those attending the coronation—including some super-villains—to get the Minions. Stuart and Bob are captured while Kevin hides in a bar where he finds Elizabeth. Kevin learns that Stuart and Bob are to be executed and breaks into Herb's laboratory, with villains chasing him. He accidentally triggers an experimental machine that enlarges him, destroying the Overkill residence in the process, which scares the villains away.
Kevin rescues his companions just as the other Minions arrive in London. Scarlet is distracted by the army of Minions and Kevin knocks her through numerous buildings. She sends a missile towards Kevin, which he swallows, sacrificing himself to save Stuart, Bob and the other Minions. Scarlet and Herb attempt to escape using her dress rocket but Kevin holds onto it as the missile inside him explodes, apparently killing Scarlet and Herb and shrinking Kevin back to his original size.
Elizabeth is once again crowned Queen of England, and she publicly thanks the Minions by presenting Bob with a tiny crown, Stuart with an electric guitar and Kevin with a knighthood. Scarlet and Herb, who are suddenly revealed to be alive, then steal the Queen's crown, but they then get frozen by young Gru, who takes the crown from them. As the Minions see that Gru is the perfect new potential boss, they start to go after him, as Bob gives his tiny crown to Scarlet, who is upset over her dream not coming true, to make her feel better. The film ends with the Minions chasing Gru to his home.

Plot In an alternate timeline in which Earth was never hit by an asteroid and dinosaurs never became extinct, a young Apatosaurus named Arlo loses his father in a tragic accident. One day, Arlo falls into a river and gets knocked out by a rock, finding himself far away from his home. While trying to find a way back to the Clawed-Tooth Mountains, he befriends a human caveboy that he names Spot.

Production Bob Peterson and Peter Sohn started working on the film in 2009, when Peterson came up with the idea.The film's first release date of November 27, 2013 was first announced in June 2011.Not long after, the plot, director & co-director, producer, and other small details were announced at the D23 Expo on August 20, 2011. Peterson and John Walker humorously titled the film The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs and created a logo for the mock title. On April 24, 2012, Pixar announced that it would be titled The Good Dinosaur.
In June 2012, John Lasseter gave details about the film's plot: "They are kind of cartoony but they are dinosaurs; they are not walking around with clothes on or anything like that, they still are kind of dinosaurs. We focused on mostly the plant-eaters, not the carnivores... Their society becomes more of an agrarian society, meaning farmers. They become farmers. It’s a very funny story about a certain way of life that a young dinosaur has trouble fitting into and he ends up going on this quest. He kind of messes up and he has to put everything right by going on this quest and on that quest he meets this character that is an outcast from his society too and so the two of them form this bond and it becomes this unique kind of story..."[21] The filmmakers want to explore what dinosaurs represent today, and how they are represented in stereotypes. Peterson said: "It's time to do a movie where you get to know the dinosaur, what it's really like to be a dinosaur and to be with a dinosaur."Peterson said the inspiration for the movie came from a childhood visit to the 1964 New York World's Fair where he was impressed by some dinosaur audio-animatronics.On the film's title, Sohn stated "The title is deceptively simple. It has more meaning than it seems."He additionally explained: "Arlo has a lot of issues when he’s born. He’s fearful and he’s weak and he’s disconnected from the family because of these issues and he feels like he’s not worthy, and so he finds a way to become worthy."In April 2012, Pixar announced that the film's release date had been shifted from November 27, 2013 to May 30, 2014. On August 9, 2013, it was announced at the D23 Expo that Lucas Neff, John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer, and Bill Hader had joined the cast of the film.By summer 2013, the director and producer had been removed from the film due to story problems. Peterson, who could not crack the film's third act,was absent from D23 Expo, where Sohn and producer Denise Ream presented footage from the film. Ed Catmull, Pixar's president, explained the departure: "All directors get really deep in their film. Sometimes you just need a different perspective to get the idea out. rometimes directors... are so deeply embedded in their ideas it actually takes someone else to finish it up." Peterson moved on to another project he is developing at Pixar, while Ream replaced Walker, who left to work on Disney's Tomorrowland. On the subject of changing directors, Ream stated "It's given a lot of thought and care. Bob still works at Pixar [and] he's a beloved member of the studio. He helps out on a lot of the movies. We care about him, but he just needed help getting the movie done." John Lasseter, Lee Unkrich, Mark Andrews, and Sohn stepped in temporarily to work on various sections of the film.In September 2013, The Good Dinosaur had been pushed back from May 30, 2014 to November 25, 2015 (the scheduled release date for Pixar's Finding Dory). According to Ream, the primary reason for the rescheduling was "the story was not working, period, full stop, it just was not where it needed to be." In November 2013, due to the delay, Pixar laid off 67 employees of its 1,200-person workforce,[26] following the closure of Pixar Canada a month before, when about 80 employees had been laid off, officially to refocus Pixar's efforts at its main headquarters.
In August 2014, Lithgow revealed in an interview that the film had been dismantled and "completely reimagined" and he was expected to re-record his role in the next month while mentioning that Frances McDormand was still part of the film. In November 2014, it was reported that new elements had been added to the story, such as treating nature itself as the film's antagonist.[33] Pixar's general manager and president Jim Morris stated "We all liked the movie from the beginning, but ... the story had some kind of fatal flaws in it that none of us really saw. It was kind of a Billy Elliot story. It was a very different kind of movie – there was a whole dinosaur culture and community and so forth. It was one where the Arlo character was kind of repressed by the community. It never quite felt right. It always felt like that we were vilifying this group [of dinosaur characters] that was otherwise a very likeable [sic] group. It just didn’t feel like it resonated truly." Morris additionally explained: "We give people the chance to work on a story, and we give them our support, but it doesn't always work out... there were story issues that were just not solvable. So we changed the story to make it better, and we're very proud of the film we have now." In October 2014, Sohn was announced as the new director of the film.
In June 2015, it was announced that the majority of the cast had been revised.Of the original cast, only Frances McDormand retained her role in the film. It was revealed that Neff had been replaced by Raymond Ochoa, and Lithgow had been replaced by Jeffrey Wright.Arlo's three siblings, to be voiced by Harris, Hader, and Greer had been cut altogether and replaced by a single brother named Buck, voiced by Marcus Scribner. On the cast revisions, Sohn explained "It was all about finding a younger Arlo, it was really about finding a boy [to play Arlo], so that we could push into that idea of him growing up and becoming a man, so the actor previous – who is a great actor – he was already a man, and so I needed to push that arc and find that compassionate kid, so that was the major kind of change. Then everything else, all the other characters that supported that story came in and out and changed and evolved and through that evolution, some of those performers changed out of it."It was also confirmed that the farmer aspect was still part of the film, and that Arlo would have a sister named Libby.
The filmmakers wanted nature to be an antagonist for the main character Arlo. Ream noted "Nature can overcome anything, including a massive dinosaur." In order to achieve the needed realism, the film's team traveled to the American Northwest, spending time in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Juntura, Oregon, and southern Montana. Production designer Harley Jessup stated: "The area has a fantastic variety of landscapes, ranging from the Jackson Valley and the Tetons to the amazing geysers and waterfalls in Yellowstone, we studied the grasslands of Montana and the Red Desert, then incorporated all of it in Arlo’s journey." To use the landscapes that they had experienced, the filmmakers used data from the U.S. Geological Survey, and satellite images from Google Earth. The geographical data provided a foundation that the team then built on. According to supervising technical director Sanjay Bakshi, this gave director Peter Sohn "the freedom to shoot in any direction he wanted to make the world feel big and real." In addition, The Good Dinosaur features three-dimensional, volumetric clouds. In previous Pixar films, clouds have been "painted" onto the sets. Light and photography director Sharon Calahan explained: "Storm clouds are almost like a villain in the film. Plus, it’s very labor-intensive to paint clouds, and they’re in almost every scene." Calahan also noted "These particular clouds can be rendered and we can light them, which we’ve never been able to properly do before." In terms of animating Arlo, animators Rob Thompson and Kevin O’Hara went to a zoo and shot video of elephants in motion. Thompson stated: "One of the most intimidating things to animate is a quadruped, because there’s so much to them and there’s so much to manage. It’s very easy to make it not work if you don’t know what you’re managing. Locomotion is all about efficiency, a lot of times you think, 'We’re animating a big, heavy character. We should slam those feet. That’ll make it feel heavy.' The truth is, that’s not efficient. That wouldn’t be great for the legs."
Arlo was designed so that the audience could identify with him and be able to see the "boy" inside the dinosaur. Sohn explained "When Arlo gets lost in the wilderness, you need to worry that he's out of his element and in danger of getting killed, rather than just thinking 'You're an animal. Why don’t you just turn around and eat some leaves?'" He additionally stated "If you put like a realistic dinosaur in the woods, eat some leaves, you’re fine... But we really wanted to play with that twist of this is a boy out there. A dinosaur boy for sure, but trying to infuse those qualities into him."

Release The Good Dinosaur will be theatrically released on November 25, 2015.Before the rescheduling from 2014 to 2015, a Monsters University short film titled Party Central was set to accompany the film, but was instead shown with the theatrical release of Muppets Most Wanted.[41] In April 2015, it was announced that a new Pixar short, Sanjay's Super Team, directed by Sanjay Patel will be shown in front of The Good Dinosaur instead.
The film's teaser trailer was released on June 2, 2015 and the first official trailer was released on July 21, 2015.The film received an exclusive run at The Grand Rex in Paris a week before its U.S. and European premiere.

Pasanga 2:Haiku is a 2015 Indian Tamil children's film directed by Pandiraj. The film, starring three children—Kavin, Nayana and Abhiman, all newcomers—alongside Karthik Kumar, Bindu Madhavi, Ramdoss and Vidya Pradeep, is produced by Suriya, who also appears in a cameo role along with Amala Paul. The film will mark Pandiraj's last of the 'trilogy for children', following Pasanga and Marina. The film was dubbed into telugu as Memu. Production By June 2014, Suriya launched his second production under his then new-launched studio 2D Entertainment, a children's film by Pandiraj.Suriya had wanted to begin 2D Entertainment with a newcomer's film and listened to over 50 scripts but said that he was impressed by Pandiraj's script only, adding that his story was entertaining and had a message. According to the director, the film was about "the world of 'Tiny Tots' and will offer a beautiful experience to all".Pandiraj was searching for nearly eight months for suitable children to play the protagonists, meeting about 150 children, before selecting Nishesh, Baby Vaishnavi and Aarush. Bindu Madhavi, who had worked with Pandiraj in Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, was given a lead role and Karthik Kumar was cast as her romantic interest. Suriya besides producing the film agreed to play a small role in it as Tamil Naadan, a social activist. Paired opposite him was Amala Paul, who enacted the role a teacher named Venba. Before Amala Paul was signed for the role, Jyothika was under consideration, with Pandiraj stating that it "would be nice" if Jyothika played that role. The director initially shot for few days in July 2014 but then had to put it back to complete Idhu Namma Aalu. Principal photography with Suriya commenced on 25 February 2015.In May 2015, a song was filmed on Suriya and over 60 children. Suriya and Amala Paul's portions were wrapped up later that month. In August, Pandiraj announced that the title "Haiku" would not be retained, and that he would come up with a new title to take advantage of the Tamil Nadu Government's rule of entertainment tax exemption for films with Tamil titles. The title was later revealed to be "Pasanga 2". Soundtrack Music and soundtracks were composed Pisaasu fame Arrol Corelli . The soundtrack features for songs, the lyrics for which are written by Madhan Karky and Yugabharathi .Behindwoods rated the album 3 out of 5 and called it "Pasanga 2 is a feel good album which stays true to the film’s theme".

Masterpiece (stylized as Master Piece, Kannada: ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಪೀಸ್) is an upcoming Indian Kannada action thriller film written and directed by Manju Mandavya. It stars Yash and Shanvi Srivastava in the lead roles. The supporting cast features Suhasini Maniratnam and Chikkanna.

Development The film was announced on 21 October 2014, to coincide with the occasion of Diwali, a Hindu festival, by film producer Vijay Kiragandur that the film would be titled Masterpiece and would be produced under his banner Hombale Films. Dialogue-writer Manju Mandavya was chosen to direct, making his debut, who also wrote the screenplay and dialogues for the film. On titling the film as Masterpiece, he said, "Masterpiece was a spontaneous title that somehow clicked when I was getting into the structure of the story and when the hero's character was developing in my mind." V. Harikrishna was chosen to compose the music for the film and Chennai-based P. V. Shankar as the cinematographer.

Casting and filming During the announcement of the film, it was also announced that Yash would play the lead role in the film and that Suhasini Maniratnam would portray the role of his mother. The director said that two actresses, Anushka Shetty and Priya Anand were under consideration to play the female lead. Following speculations, Shanvi Srivastava was signed in late-December 2014.

It was announced that the filming was scheduled to begin in November or early-December 2014, following the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari, another Yash-starrer. However delayed, reports said filming was to begin in the second week of January 2015. In June 2015, it was revealed that model Ekta Rathod would make a cameo appearance in the film. In the midst of filming, The New Indian Express carried a report in July suggesting that Yash could be playing a negative role in the film, which however was not confirmed by the makers.In course of filming its final schedule in September, it was revealed that the film would incorporate elements from the life story of a revolutionary leader of British India, Bhagat Singh. A schedule in Mysore was completed following which the song sequences were filmed.

Story: Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam or Su Su Sudhi Valmeekam is an upcoming 2015 Malayalam comedy drama film written and directed by Ranjith Sankar, starring Jayasurya in lead role. The film was co-produced by Ranjith and Jayasurya under Dreams N Beyond. Story:‘Adventures of Omanakkuttan’ is a colorful comedy thriller set in Mysore. The movie tells the story of Omanakkuttan, (Asif Ali) an executive at the Customer Care Centre of Clintonica Hair Oil based in Mysore, and the Kannada girl Pallavi, (Bhavana) a very smart dance student. Omanakkuttan is very proficient at his job and his employer is much impressed about him. Omanakkuttan is an introvert who does not know how to behave in public and how to manage situations. Omanakkuttan happens to meet Pallavi who is an outspoken person. She is making preparations for a dance performance named Flamenco in Spain. Both Omanakkuttan and Pallavi are poles apart in their characters and behavior. The amusing instances that follow are detailed in ‘Adventures of Omanakkuttan’. ‘Adventures of Omanakkuttan’ is written and directed by debutant Rohith V S. The film is produced by Antony Binoy under the banner of Four M Entertainments. Aju Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Siddique, V K Prakash, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Mridul Sivakumar, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Sreekumar, Srinda Ashab, and Archana Jayakrishnan are the other actors.
